5. Thirst, 2009
Another hidden horror gem from Korea is ‘Thirst’. It portrays the forbidden love of priest to his best friend’s wife and turns into a vampire. And vampirism makes for the expression of forbidden love, or lust. The films got the Jury Prize at Cannes in the year 2009.
