Sam Worthington
James Cameron’s Avatar became the highest grossing film. It starred Sam Worthington who was not so well known. Leonardo DiCaprio led James Cameron Titanic in the record books. It was thought similarly for Worthington that he’d be the Oscar winner in future. In 2009 things were looking really great for Worthington when he was cast in Terminator: Salvation along with Christian Bale. Seven years later, he’s not much recognized. He had another success in 2010 with Clash of the Titans. But its sequel failed at the box office and this slowed down his career. He hasn’t done anything much from 2012.
So, many actors on this list had opportunities to attain success but unfortunately it did not work out. What we can speculate is that not every opportunity translates into success. Although we do hope that they make bigger successes in times to come.
