4. Phyllis Diller
Phyllis is the first female stand-up comedian in the history of comedy. She went on the stage for the first time at ‘Purple Onion Club’ in ‘San Francisco’. Phyllis was a master of her craft. Her comic act was saucy and self evasive, punctuated by her trademark cackling laughter. Phyllis pioneered the craft of witty one-liners.
