Woody Allen and Helena Bonham Carter
This one was terrible from the start. Helena and Allen both are known to play the characters which mostly are unromantic. And here in Mighty Aphrodite, they are told to kiss each-other as the movie would have it. Helena particularly was at her miserable worst considering the way Woody Allen laid out certain rules one of them being ’no exchange of liquid permitted’. Helena was further consternated seeing Allen was making no efforts therefore, it was obviously ‘like kissing the Berlin Wall’ exercise for her.
